IROs focus on non-clinical primary prevention of interpersonal and self-directed violence. The IRO collaboratively identifies and implements public health-informed and evidence-based prevention efforts to eliminate sexual assault, dating violence, domestic abuse, child abuse, harassment, and suicide. IROs are the OPR for the base Suicide Prevention Program, Community Climate Assessments and Comprehensive Integrated Primary Prevention (CIPP) Plan development.

SAPR Offices support adult victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment, providing advocacy, resource linking, and trauma-informed and recovery-oriented assistance in the DoD community. Coordinators and Victim Advocates assist victims in making reports, work closely with leadership and resources to help servicemembers and their family members navigate the sexual assault response system.

Educate, promote, and enhance the safety, health, and welfare of personnel; perform worksite surveys of industrial/administrative activities for both military and civilian employees; report unsafe, unhealthy, or hazardous working conditions; manage and develop occupational safety, health and risk management policy, procedures, standards, and objectives for implementation of the Air Force Mishap Prevention Program within the installation as a whole.

The IG ensures the concerns of all complainants, and the best interests of the Air Force are addressed through objective fact-finding to enhance the discipline, readiness, and warfighting capability of the entire wing. They enable and strengthen commanders’ mission effectiveness and efficiency through independent inspections, assessment, and accurate reporting of readiness, economy, efficiency, discipline, and the ability to execute assigned missions.

EO provides timely, fair, and impartial services to military and civilian personnel such as complaint processing, outreach, training, assistance through alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and other related services. This includes ensuring that personnel are equipped with knowledge about and have access to available resources such as trained EO practitioners and the DAF Unlawful Discrimination and Harassment Hotline.

The UNITE Program provides squadron leaders with the maximum flexibility to deliver programs that build cohesion for personnel within their unit through social and recreation events. Funding is available through the Force Support Squadron to cover activity fees and minimal food expenses. Contact your unit’s UNITE POC or the Force Support Squadron for more information.

The ADC provides confidential, independent legal representation for service members who are facing adverse administrative actions or are suspected of committing an offense under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The ADC falls outside the chain of command for the host wing, and therefore retains independence in the representation of service members.

The Civilian Personnel Office and Equal Opportunity Office provide mediation between individuals as a resource to resolve issues at the lowest level before they escalate. Mediation services may be arranged by either the Civilian Personnel Office or the Equal Opportunity Office, dependent upon the issues being addressed.
