Col. David Kumashiro, 62nd Airlift Wing commander, announces the selection of Matthew Zubrod, as the Air Mobility Command’s civilian of the year, Category IIb, Mar. 20, 2015, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Dring 2014, Zubrod, 62nd Maintenance Squadron powered support system supervisor, led three generator overhauls which eliminated more than $215,000 in depot costs and extended the units life by 20 years.
