62nd AW History Office

Historic Air Force logo fading to modern Air Force logo

Each year the 62nd Airlift Wing historian prepares the wing's annual history by gathering documents and interviews from all wing groups, squadrons, and other organizations and compiling them into a comprehensive history report. The wing historian is also responsible for the wing's lineage and honors, historical documents, and answering historical requests. While the 62nd AW historian does not oversee artifacts or the airpark, the history office works closely with the Air Museum.
