627th Logistics Readiness Squadron is responsible for providing logistics and contingency operations support to JBLM units and the Joint Base Garrison. The unit consist of active duty Air Force personnel, Army civilians and contractors that provide world-class logistics readiness support for 48 C-17A Globemaster III aircraft, a US Army Corps Headquarters, three Stryker brigades, the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and ten other combat, combat support and combat service support brigades and equivalents.
