Inspections key to Airdrop Success

Staff Sgt. Eric Bailey, 62nd Operations Support Squadron joint airdrop inspector, assists with the loading of an air drop bundle Oct. 21, 2015, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Depending on the cargo there can be hundreds of individual ties for the inspectors to inspect, any of which can cause a major malfunction in the load resulting in damage to the cargo, aircraft or personnel.
