Fixing antenna

James Martin, 62nd Maintenance Squadron integrated avionics technician, replaces an ultra-high frequency satellite antenna on a C-17 Globemaster III June 4, 2014, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. A McChord maintenance Airman noticed their unit was replacing a significant amount of the antennas because they were failing a very strict manufacturer’s inspection but were not being identified by the air crews as defective in any way.
