McChord airmen arrive at Foofaraw 2008 on Sept 5. The 46th Annual military appreciation event honors the sacrifice of local Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen making service members the guest of the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce and Olympia Yacht Club for a day of fun. Airmen were paired with local ship captains aboard private yachts and sailed to a Puget Sound Island owned by the Yacht Club for a day of sports, games and food. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt.
