Defense attache visit

Staff Sgt. Kasie Spearman, 62nd Force Support Squadron, answers questions from foreign defense attachés concerning personnel readiness during a C-17 Globemaster III static display Wednesday in Hangar 4. The group was visiting McChord as part of the Fall 2008 Defense Attaché Operations Orientation Program that introduces the Foreign Defense Attachés to Defense Department and federal agency personnel, missions, facilities, training, weapons systems and capabilities, and exposes them to the industrial, historical and cultural aspects of American society. The program builds on the cooperation between the Defense Department and foreign militaries. McChord was included in a tour including a stop at Fort Lewis and several stops in Alaska.
