Airman Hughes is a customer service technician from Gig Harbor, Wash., in the 62nd CPTS’ financial services flight. He audits and inputs over 3,000 military pay-affecting transactions monthly. Additionally, Airman Hughes serves as a unit fitness assessment monitor and physical training leader, revamping the unit’s fitness program yielding a 100% pass rate. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and is only two classes shy of his Community College of the Air Force degree. Airman Hughes has exuded his community leadership by volunteering to help with the Special Olympics, Fall Harvest Festival and as an opposing forces augmentee for Fort Dix’s Eagle Flag exercise.
