C-17 Airmen make the mission happen

Staff Sgt. Sean Ide documents information on weight and balance forms while on a C-17 Globemaster III March 20, 2012, at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan. The aircraft, emergency equipment, fuel, cargo and passenger weights must be balanced properly on the C-17 to ensure the aircraft isn't overloaded and can fly safely. Ide is an 817th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron Detachment 1 C-17 loadmaster deployed here from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Angela Ruiz)
