Chaining before loading
Loadmasters from the 62nd and 446th Airlift Wings attach chains to an AS-350 helicopter, Oct. 5, 2013, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., prior to loading it onto a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft in support of Operation Deep Freeze. As part of the 304th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, 35 McChord Airmen departed on the first of two scheduled rotations in support of the 2013-2014 Operation Deep Freeze main season.
