Team McChord,

We just received an update from Air Force Personnel Center regarding the fiscal year 2014 Force Management programs announced by the Air Force last month. The Voluntary Separation Pay program window for Enlisted Airmen opens tonight, Jan. 13, at 10 p.m. local/Pacific Standard Time. In addition, the Temporarily Early Retirement Authority application window for both enlisted and officers opens tonight, Jan. 13, at 10 p.m. local/PST. All Airmen applying for these programs must submit their applications after 10 p.m. PST through vMPF.

It is very important that you do not submit applications prior to 10 p.m. local/PST. If you already submitted an application you will have to submit again when the window opens tonight. Applications submitted before that time will not be accepted by AFPC.

Please note that the Officer VSP application window has slipped to an unspecified date. Officers that already submitted an application will have to submit again when their window opens. We will provide more information on the Officer VSP program as soon as we receive it.
