627th CS deploys mobile communications kits during Exercise Swift Response 24

Members from the 627th Communications Squadron at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., recently deployed May 3-16 in support of Exercise Swift Response 24. The 627th CS deployed with mobile communications kits aboard three C-17 Globemaster IIIs providing mobile, secure command and control capabilities to aircrews throughout the exercise. By providing secure communications for exercise participants, the 627th CS shows their steadfast resolve in contributing to the execution of today’s global airlift mission.
