JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. --

Despite the drizzle common to the Pacific Northwest, Team McChord Airmen and families gather to witness the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Nov. 30, 2023. Hot chocolate, cookies, and other desserts were provided by the USO. Children were able to take pictures with Mrs. and Mr. Clause along with two gingerbread men. Providing holiday recreational family activities is one of the ways Team McChord develop ready Airmen and families.
