JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- POW/MIA Remembrance Week is one of our favorite weeks here at McChord Field. We take great pride in honoring the sacrifices and memory of our service members who were prisoners of war or missing in action and look forward to continuing to pay our respects throughout the week.
This morning, we held this week’s opening ceremony. The McChord Field Honor Guard performed the Missing Man Table and Honors Ceremony in honor of those who never returned home to their loved ones and it was concluded by Col. David Fazenbaker’s closing remarks.
