Airmen from the 62nd Airlift Wing are celebrating their accomplishment as the Air Mobility Command Inspector General Team certified the wing as "Outstanding" in the Logistics Standardization and Evaluation Program inspection and "Excellent" in the Unit Compliance Inspection in separate outbriefings this week. Col. Stanley Dougherty, Inspections Division chief from Scott Air Force Base, Ill., praised the 62nd Airlift Wing's preparedness in his final report.

"The 62nd AW is led by exemplary senior officers and enlisted leadership," he said. "Personnel throughout the wing demonstrated a high degree of enthusiasm, professionalism, and were well prepared for this compliance inspection."

Colonel Dougherty also praised the base's overall appearance and said wing personnel properly observed customs and courtesies and were receptive to inspector feedback throughout the inspection.

Twenty-eight Team McChord members were identified in the final report as exceptional performers.

"The results show that we are dedicated to the ongoing practice of 'excellence in all we do'," said Col. Jerry Martinez, 62nd AW commander. "Thank you team McChord!"
