McChord Airman passes away

MCCHORD FIELD, JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. --  An Airman with the 62nd Medical Group died of cancer Nov. 19. Senior Airman Nathan Blane Lindstrand, 22, was assigned to the Airman's Clinic on McChord Field.

"My deepest sympathy goes out to Nathan and his family," said Col. Kevin J. Kilb, 62nd Airlift Wing Commander. "The Air Force mourns the loss of a young man I sure would have been a great enlisted leader. Nathan's life was a shining example of service to our nation and we will miss him greatly."

Airman Linsdstand will be laid to rest, Dec. 15, in his hometown of Portland, Ore.
