Courts-martial include general, special and summary courts-martial with charges under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice. - A general courts-martial was convened at McChord Field, Wash. The accused, a member of the 62nd Comptroller Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, six counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecent acts. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, 18 years of confinement and dishonorable discharge. - A general courts-martial was convened at McChord Field, Wash. The accused, a member of the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, one count of willful dereliction of duty in the form of providing alcohol to minors and one count of abusive sexual contact. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, six months of confinement and bad conduct discharge. - A special courts-martial was convened at McChord Field, Wash. The accused, a member of the 627th Communications Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, one count of larceny military property worth more than $500, four counts of selling military property worth more than $500 and three counts of selling military property of $500 or less. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, forfeiture of $4,145, five months of confinement and bad conduct discharge. The following information is a summary of non-judicial punishments given by commanders under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice from Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, 2011. The punishments are determined based on the individual facts and circumstances of each case. - A staff sergeant from the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron committed larceny of military property worth $500 or less, simple assault and drunk and disorderly conduct. The staff sergeant received reduction to senior airman, two forfeitures of $500 and a reprimand. - A staff sergeant from the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron committed willful dereliction of duty by violating a technical order. The staff sergeant received reduction to senior airman and a reprimand. - An airman from the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron committed two counts of failure to go. The airman received reduction to airman basic, 30 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - An airman first class from the 62nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron committed failure to go and made a false official statement. The airman first class received reduction to airman, two forfeitures of $250, 30 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - An airman first class from the 62nd Aerial Port Squadron committed failure to obey a lawful order by using spice and two counts of the wrongful use of schedule one, two or three controlled substance by the use of ecstasy and adderrall. The airman first class received reduction to airman basic, 45 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - An airman first class from the 62nd Aerial Port Squadron committed failure to obey a lawful order by using spice. The airman first class received reduction to airman basic, 45 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - An airman basic first class from the 62nd Aerial Port Squadron committed failure to go and dereliction of duty by means of neglecting to properly track fitness training sessions. The airman basic received two forfeitures of $733, 30 days of restriction, 15 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - An airman first class from the 62nd Mission Operation Squadron committed failure to go. The airman first class received reduction to airman and a reprimand. - A staff sergeant from the 627th Civil Engineering Squadron committed willful dereliction of duty by misusing a government travel card and making a false official statement. The staff sergeant received reduction to senior airman and a reprimand. - A technical sergeant from the 627th Civil Engineer Squadron failed to obey a lawful order by violating a no-contact order. The technical sergeant received reduction to staff sergeant, 30 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - An airman first class from the 627th Civil Engineering Squadron drank while underage. The airman first class received reduction to airman, two forfeitures of $250, 15 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - A senior airman from the 627th Logistics Readiness Squadron committed three counts of willful dereliction of duty by misusing Leave Web. The senior airman received reduction to airman first class, two forfeitures of $500, 30 days of extra duty and a reprimand. - A senior airman from the 627th Security Forces Squadron committed two counts of dereliction of duty by misusing a government travel card. The senior airman received reduction to airman and a reprimand. - A senior airman from the 5th Air Support Operations Squadron committed two counts of failure to obey lawful order and disrespect to a commissioned officer. The senior airman received reduction to airman first class and a reprimand.
