McChord Field adverse weather reporting Published Jan. 17, 2012 62nd Airlift Wing JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- Due to the inclement weather, road conditions and concern for the safety of all personnel, the 62nd Airlift Wing commander, in conjunction with the Garrison commander, has directed the following curtailment for McChord Field: - Two-hour early release of all non-essential mission personnel for the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 17. - Two-hour delayed reporting of all non-essential mission personnel for the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 18.
