Major Brenna C. Jordan is the Commander at 62d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 62d Maintenance Group, 62d Air Wing, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. In this role, she ensures the readiness of 627 active duty and civilian personnel to provide generation and maintenance support for 40 assigned C-17A aircraft, ensuring worldwide combat airlift, humanitarian, and airdrop capabilities. The 62 AMXS also generates airpower to meet Air Force’s Prime Nuclear Airlift Force’s requirements and provides the primary active duty airlift for OPERATION DEEP FREEZE supporting the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic research.
Major Jordan commissioned as an acquisitions officer through the United States Air Force Academy in May 2015. She was selected for the Operational Experience Program for an aircraft maintenance assignment at Tinker Air Force Base and applied to stay in the aircraft maintenance. Prior to her current position, Major Jordan served as the Director of Operations for the 305th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron where she was responsible leading mission-focused maintenance efforts for 13 assigned C-17A aircraft and 285 personnel to support global airlift taskings.
