Col Travis “T.S.” Elliott is the Deputy Chief, Global Operations Center, Headquarters United States Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He is responsible for execution and oversight of all the U.S. Transportation Command missions through air, land, and sea. He coordinates with the Joint Staff, combatant commands, component commands, commercial industry, and other agencies to ensure movement plans are executed in direct support of the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise.
He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics. Then following graduation from undergraduate pilot training at Columbus AFB, Mississippi, he completed multiple tours flying the C-17A, Globemaster III, and has served on staffs at the Major Command and Department of the Air Force levels. Prior to his current position, the Colonel completed Air War College following service as the Commander, 437th Operations Support Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.
Col Elliott is a command pilot and Weapons Officer with over 1,000 combat and 3,800 total flight hours.
