Maj. Vincent J. Colletti is the Commander, 62d Comptroller Squadron, 62d Airlift Wing, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. He commands a 29-person comptroller squadron managing financial services and a $380 million annual budget. Additionally, Maj. Colletti has administrative command of the 62d Airlift Wing’s twenty-three Wing Staff Agencies comprised of 114 personnel. He is the chief financial officer of the Wing - more than 2,400 active-duty military and civilian personnel supporting the operation of 40 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.
Major Colletti commissioned through Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. As an acquisition officer, he executed several weapon system budgets and led budget teams in the Direct Attack and Long-Range System Divisions. His programs most notably included the Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM), Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM), Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System rocket, and Improved Lethality Warhead. Prior to his current position, the Major was the Director of Operations, 375th Comptroller Squadron, 375th Air Mobility Wing, Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, Ill.
Major Colletti was the Comptroller of the 353d Special Operations Group on Kadena Air Base, Japan, and directly supported special operations across the Pacific Air Forces theater. Major Colletti returned to his hometown of St. Louis, Mo., with his wife and daughter to join the United States Transportation Command. There he led the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Integration team for the Program Analysis and Financial Management Directorate (TCJ8) for the Combatant Command. He was also MAJCOM budget analyst in the budget integration section or “engine room” at Headquarters AMC, supporting the execution of a $4.6 billion annual budget.
