CWP 2017 Top 10
Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Air Force units were evaluated and received scores in several areas including body mass indexes, tobacco use, physical training, and deployment rates. Based on the Commander’s Wellness Program rankings, the top 10 were highlighted and the No. 1, the 4th Airlift Squadron, was presented the Healthy Squadron Award trophy Dec. 13, 2017. To maintain or claim possession of the roving trophy for 2018, additional criteria including sleep, nutrition and physical activity measures will be evaluated.

Award recognizes wellness in action
Col. Sonkiss, 62nd Airlift Wing commander, left, presents Master Sgt. Benjamin Harrison, 4th Airlift Squadron first sergeant, with the Healthy Squadron Award trophy Dec. 13, 2017, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The inaugural presentation of this annual roving trophy, recognized the 4th AS as the unit with the highest Commander’s Wellness Program pilot health findings.
