JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. --

Team McChord Airmen recently launched this year Combined Federal Campaign drive Oct. 7 at McChord Field.

The CFC is a Department of Defense sponsored organization that raises funds for more than 1,600 charities worldwide. Team McChord Airmen and DOD civilians donate to numerous charities yearly through CFC.

Those who wish to donate can do so through recurring monthly payroll allotments, or by way of a one-time gift. Pledges made by military and federal civilians during the campaign season support local, national and international organizations that provide health and human services.
