U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Connor O’Hare, 62nd Operations Support Squadron, aircrew flight equipment journeyman, completes a survival component upgrade to a new aircrew survival backpack at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Feb. 18, 2022. The components in the survival backpacks are vital in providing downed personnel with essential life-sustaining items and rescue aids.
