The 62nd Airlift Wing provided transport for the 14th Fighter Squadron from Daegu, South Korea, to Misawa Air Base, Japan. Rainier War is a semi-annual, large readiness exercise led by the 62nd Airlift Wing, designed to train aircrews under realistic scenarios that support full spectrum readiness operations against modern threats and replicate today’s contingency operations.
