Month of Military Child - Carter Lake Elementary

Retired Army Lt. Col. Allen Patty, Lakes High School Army JROTC senior Army instructor, introduces his team of JROTC cadets, whom also presented the Colors at the start of the Month of the Military Child ceremony, and shares a little of their stories. During the Month of the Military Child ceremony at Carter Lake Elementary School, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Patty highlighted the youth he introduced were fourth and fifth graders not too long ago, and the resiliency that comes from being a military child may also lead to leadership opportunities like those available in a JROTC structure.
