From the east coast to the west coast: the journey of two bottles to reunite WWII members

Col. (ret.) Ralph Jenkins, 510th Fighter Squadron commander, poses for a photo while serving as a fighter pilot during World War II. During one of the last reunions with his squadron members a pact was made that when the last two surviving members remained they would raise a toast of brandy to their fallen comrades. In an effort that spanned more than 2,800 miles, a bottle of 1945 Calvados Brandy has been delivered to Jenkins to make this event happen. (Courtesy photo)
