McChord earns top marks in critical inspection

In continued readiness for the Prime Nuclear Airlift Force mission, 62nd Airlift Wing Airmen secure a nuclear cargo training aid inside a C-17 aircraft during a recent nuclear airlift mission training exercise. McChord’s 62nd Airlift Wing is the only organization in the U.S. Air Force tasked with the Prime Nuclear Airlift Force mission. Following a week-long inspection of the PNAF mission at McChord AFB, concluding Jan 12, inspectors rated the wing’s ability to complete the mission, “Satisfactory”, the highest possible rating.
