JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- The 62d Airlift Wing Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office hosted a Superhero 5K kicking-off Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, April 1, 2025. SAAPM is observed throughout the month of April each year to raise awareness and reinforce the commitment to eliminating sexual assault within the military through prevention initiatives, response programs and survivor support services. The SAPR office holds various events to develop ready Airmen and families and promote a safe and healthy work culture.
