The 5th Air Support Operations Squadron joined the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) at their indoor range for a pistol accuracy course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Sept. 8, 2023.

The three-day course tested tactical air control party Airmen and Green Berets' speed and accuracy skills with the M17 weapon system. Over 18,000 rounds were fired, honing their lethality capabilities.

This training provided an opportunity for the 5th ASOS and 1st SFG (A) to integrate, furthering their relationship and lethality as a joint force. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Callie Norton)
