MSgt Czarina Anne R. Herrera is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 62d Medical Squadron, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. In this role, she oversees the operations, utilization, and development of 83 medical personnel and 8 civilians. Additionally, MSgt Herrera is responsible for managing the resources and manpower of four flights, ensuring that 3,100 Airmen receive top-tier healthcare and are prepared to support the Department of War's sole Prime Nuclear Airlift Force mission. Providing expert guidance to the Squadron Commander, MSgt Herrera's experience shapes policy, enforces standards, and fosters a positive environment, driving mission success.
MSgt Herrera entered the Air Force on Aug. 9, 2011 as an Aerospace Medical Technician. Her previous experiences include Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Base and Operational Medicine Clinic and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Respiratory Clinic at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. MSgt Herrera is a Language Enabled Airman Program Scholar in Tagalog and has participated in an advance Language Intensive Training Event. MSgt Herrera deployed in-place while stationed at Joint Base Andrews at the Aeromedical Staging Facility in support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL. Prior to her current position, she was the Aerospace Medicine Flight Chief within the 62d Medical Squadron.
