627th LRS basketball team takes first place Published March 15, 2012 By Airman 1st Class Leah Young 62nd Airlift Wing Public Affairs JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- Congratulations to the 627th Logistics Readiness Squadron who earned first place during the 2012 intramural basketball champions held at McChord Field. The team defeated the 373rd Training Squadron 41 to 44 in the final round of the tournament March 14. The 62nd Maintenance Squadron finished in third place. The 627th LRS team will go on to play in the JBLM Lewis Main championships March 15 at 6 p.m. at Soldier's Field House.
