DORMS In the last ten years, McChord has invested over $41 million renovating and building some of the finest unaccompanied housing in the Air Force. We are absolutely committed to our enlisted force. In addition to renovating bathrooms, installing air conditioning and purchasing high quality furnishings for existing dorms, McChord is busy building from the ground up. In 1997, we proudly opened the doors to the first brand-new "1+1" dorms in the Air Force. The fitness center, shopping, sand volleyball courts, covered barbeque pavilions, and a first-class dining facility are all within walking distance. For more detailed information, please call Donna Dahlstrom at DSN 382-3574 or commercial (253) 982-3574.
