U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Stephen Garner, cross-utilization course student, prepares for on-the-job training in the Cross Utilization Course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Nov. 24, 2021. The CUT course is designed to train Airmen from various maintenance-related career fields and provide them the tools needed to aid undermanned or constrained Air Force Specialty Codes in order to utilize already proficiently trained Airmen to be more well-rounded, better equipped and more knowledgeable about all things related to C-17 Globemaster III maintenance.
